Now Parliamentarians will breathe easy as Sach ka Saamna will down its curtains on 18 September. The show that launched on 15 July will make way for Star Plus’ new reality show Perfect Bride, which is launching on 12 September. The show will run from Monday to Sunday. Perfect Bride will air at 10:30 pm for just half an hour for one week from Monday to Friday and for one hour or more during the weekends.

Says Anupama Mandloi, Sr. Creative Director, Star Plus, “Sach ka Saamna is ending on 18th September and Perfect Bride which originally will be launched a 30 minute show for one week and will become an hour long show once Sach ka Saamna ends. The reality series of the show will air at 10:30 pm on Mondays to Fridays and the evictions will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 pm.”

When asked if the channel will bring back Sach ka Saamna’s second season, Anupama said, “Yes, we will but I can’t comment when it is likely to happen.”

As of now the channel has put on hold its branded shows like Nach Baliye and Voice of India, in an attempt to launch a novel concept in Perfect Bride. Mandloi reasons it out saying that people want to see something new so they are coming up with newer concepts. “As of now we are planning to offer something new to the viewers but when the time comes to bring back the seasons of the two shows we will,” she adds.

Perfect Bride will be judged by Shekhar Suman, Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Rao.
