9X is all set to take entertainment to another level by launching the all new fiction show titled Neelanjanaa, which will air as part of its afternoon band every Monday to Thursday at 1 pm starting 14th January, 2008.

"Neelanjanaa", meaning the 'blue eyed girl', is based on the true story of a simple, vivacious girl, for whom her beauty becomes a bane rather than a boon. the story is about how she is helped by a journalist to escape the evil of flesh trade prevalent in her society. But destiny has another thing in store for her, and soon, with certain developments in her life, her whole world turns upside down.

So join Neelanjanaa in her journey as she takes life head on to meet her destiny. Produced by Edit II Productions, Neelanjanaa has a very impressive lineup of popular television actors. The beautiful Harsha Khandeparkar plays the lead role as Neelanjanaa. Other stars in the show are Atul Srivastava, Mrinal Kularni and Akshay Anand.
