9X's 'Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1' on November 2

9X is launching a reality show 'Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1' in a bid to shore up its ratings. Starting on 2 November, the show will air on Sundays at 9 pm.

Being a mix of singing, dancing and stand-up comedy, the show is a further extension of its earlier dance-based reality format 'Yeh Hain Jalwa'.

Announcing the launch, INX Media non-fiction head Vikas Varma said, "We have seen song based, dance based and comedy based reality shows, but this is for the first time Indian television will see a combination of all three."

Produced by Bonnie Jain Productions, the show will see four teams captained by celebrities performing dancing, singing and stand-up comedy. The team captains will 'trade' team members amongst one another.

The show will be hosted by Ali Asgar and Divyanka Tripathi. The judges include Mahima Choudhary, Satish Kaushik and a celebrity judge for every show.

The four captains are Mika, Rakhi Sawant, Shakti Kapoor and Shweta Tiwari.

The show will also feature 12 TV stars who will be divided in three talent pools of singing, dancing and comedy. Twinkle Bajpai, Amit Tandon, Sandeep Acharya and Rajeshwari Sachdeva comprise the singing pool, while Khayali, Kashmira Shah, Krushna Abhishek and Purbi Joshi form the comedy pool and Tanaz and Bhaktiar Irani and Gaurav Khanna and Shubhangi Atre will be in the dancing pool.
