Mayank and Nupur get separated …. (One change – he doesn’t leave any letter for her)

My Story –

Mayank left the Excel College … no one knows where they went … its one and a half year since they got separated … now he is working in an office … there, the Gang returned to Mumbai except Nupur … she stayed back in Morena … the memories of past were still with them … he had her picture in his wallet and she could not forget his words ... but in the course of time they have completely changed from what they were before ……..

Mayank is standing in the balcony … he is wearing a white kurta-pyjama … mom brings him coffee …

Mom – Mayu … kyun kar raha hai aisa? Kyun uske paas nahi jaata?
Mayank – Ma … maine use hamesha dukh,dard aur aansuon ke alaava kuch nahi diya … jab bhi uske paas gaya sirf use takleef hi di hai … kuch cheezein waqt aur kismat par chod deni chaahiye … waqt ne humein ek dusre se door kiya tha … agar kismat chaahegi to hum phir milenge ….
Mom – Par ….
Mayank – Maa … wo mujhse door nahi hai … wo aaj bhi mere saath hai … meri yaadon mein … to kya hua agar uska haath mere haath mein nahi hai … wo har pal har lamha mere saath hai … mere paas hai … aur yahi mere liye kaafi hai ….. main usse pyaar karta tha ... karta hun ... aur zindagi bhar karta rahunga .....
Both hug each other … his eyes brimming with tears ….

Nupur is sitting on the railing of the terrace … reading a book … she is wearing a very simple and plain white salwar suit … her hair all open … her dupatta flying …

Nupur - Mayank to kya hua agar tum mujhse door chale gaye .... main tumhe nahi bhool sakti ... tumhaari yaadein hamesha mere saath rahengi ... zindagi bhar .... main hamesha tumse pyaar karti rahungi ... hamesha ....

The Gang (Samrat;Gunjan;Diya;Benji are in their final year while Uday is now assistant editor to a food and health magazine .....) comes to Morena to take Nupur to Mumbai ...
initially she refuses ... but for Gunjan's sake she agrees .....

They return to Mumbai .... Nupur is sitting near the window ...
Nupur (thinking of the first time she came here; in her mind) - Kuch nahi badla hai yahaan ... har kisise anjaan ... aaj bhi ye shehar bhaag raha hai ... haan ... agar kuch badal gaya hai ... to wo hun main .....

All the memories were standing in front of her as she entered the house .....

Its a week since she is here ... the Nupur whom no one could stop from blabbering was now completely silent .....

One night ..... (nearly 12:30 AM)

Nupur couldn't sleep .... she gets up and moves out of the house .... she is wearing a pale blue salwar suit with full sleeves ..... her hair all open ....

Mayank was working late in the office .... but he could not concentrate on his work .... he moved out of the office leaving his things there .... he is wearing a black suit with a white shirt ...

Nupur was lost in her thoughts while walking on the road .... her hair were flying ... covering her face .... it was very dark .... when a truck in full speed proceeded towards her ... she had no idea about it ....
As Mayank was walking on the road ... he saw a truck proceeding towards a girl .... he ran to save her .... the truck was very near when Nupur's attention went towards it ... her eyes widened and she didn't understand what to do .... he jumped and held her in his arms and both fell on the other side of the road .... she was holding his coat and was under him .... her hair hid her face .... her eyes were closed .... her touch reminded him of his love ......he slowly removed her hair from her face .... their eyes met ..... both were still lying on the roadside .....
Mayank - Nupur .....
Nupur - Mayank ......

Their eyes were filled with tears and love ....finally the distances were finished ...... all the barriers broken ...... in that moment they got back their love ....

He held her and stood up .... both were still looking into each others' eyes .... she could not control herself andput her arms around his neck and hid her face in his shoulders .... he tried to control his arms but failed ... and hels her tight from her waist and brought her near .... Ya maula .... ya maula ...... they slowly borught their faces near and touched their noses ... both were in tears .... her hands on his shoulders and his on her her waist .... their eyes were shut ..... the pain they were hiding inside was finally out with the tears .....

They held each others' hands and walked towards the beach ..... he held her hand tight in his hands so that she never gets away from him .... Mere haath mein ... tera haath ho .... saari jannatein mere saath ho ..... ... they locked their fingers .... Mere haath mein tera haath ho saari jannatein mere saath ho ..... he brought their locked hands near his face and kissed her hand ... Tu jo paas ho ... phir kya ye jahaan ... tere pyaar mein ho jaaun fanaa ... she touched her forehead to his hand ... her tears fell on it ... Mere haath mein tera haath ho saari jannatein mere saath ho ... he held her face in his hands and slowly wiped her tears ... she hugged him and hid herself in his chest .... Tu jo paas ho ... phir kya ye jahaan ... tere pyaar mein ho jaaun fanaa ...

They reached the beach .... her head on his shoulder and his hand around her shoulder .... Mere haath mein ... tera haath ho ... saari jannatein mere saath ho ... both were silent .... nothing to speak ... but their silence said it all ..... they walked along the water holding each others' hand .... her dupatta started flying .... he slowly held it and put it around her ... his one hand around her waist and other around her shoulder ... her hnads gently touched his chest ... they kept staring in each others' eyes .... Tere dil mein meri saanson ko panaah mil jaaye .... tere ishq mein meri jaan fanaa ho jaaye ....

He brought her near ... and slowly and gently kissed her forehead ... Jitne paas hai khusboo saans ke ... jitne paas hoton ke sargam ..... he hair were flowing .... he slowly held them and brought them on one side and kissed her neck ... Jaise saath hai karvat yaad ke .... she felt shy and tried to move away but he held her wrist and pulled her near and held her from her waist ... Jaise saath baahon ke sangam ..... he slowly kissed her eyes ....Jitne paas paas khwaabon ke nazar ... utne paas tu ... rehna humsafar ... she brought her hands near his face and kissed his cheeks .... Tu jo paas ho phir kya yeh jahaan ... tere pyaar mein ho jaaun fanaa ... he joint her hands and held them and kissed her fingers ... Mere haath mein tera haath ho saari jannatein mere saath ho ....

The waves of the water grew ..... the moonlight falling on them ... he held her chin and brought her face near and kissed her lips ..... his eyes were in tears .... she felt them on her cheeks .... seeing him like that ... her eyes got filled with tears too ... she gently touched his cheeks and slowly wiped his tears .... Rone de aaj humko ... tu aankhein sujaane de .... he dig his face in her shoulders and held her tight ... she kept her hands on his back and folded them on his shoulders .... Baahon mein lele aur khudko bheeg jaane de .... his tears fell on her shoulder and neck .... she softly kissed his neck ... Hai jo seene mein kaid dariya wo choot jaayega ... hai itna dard ki tera daaman bheeg jaayega ...

It started raining .... as if ... even the heavens were in tears on their getting back together ..... he kept his hands on her shoulder from behind ... slowly moved them on her hands ... then held her wrists and closed her in his arms Jitne paas paas dhadkan ke hai raaz ... jitne paas boondon ke baadal .... he kissed her cheeks and she looked upto the moon ... Jitne paas paas chanda ke hai raat .... jitne paas nainon ke kaajal ... he slowly turned her towards himself .... they looked into each others' eyes ... he was still hoding her shoulders ... Jitne paas paas saagar ke lehar ... utne paas tu rehna humsafar ... she came into his arms ... Tu jo paas ho ... phir kya ye jahaan ... tere pyaar mein ho jaaun fanaa ... both were lost in each others' arms ... Mere haath mein tera haath ho ... saari jannatein mere saath ho ... both smiled ... Adhoori saans thi ... dhadkan adhoori thi .... adhoore hum ... magar ab chaand poora hai falak pe aur ab poore hai hum ...

Both are sitting on the beach … his hand on her shoulders and her head on his shoulder … suddenly she removed her head … he couldn’t understand what happened ….
Mayank (nervously) – Kya hua Nupur?
Nupur – Tum mujhe chodke kyun chale gaye the?
Mayank – Nupur … haalaat hi kuch aise ho gaye the … (and he tells her how his mom had been fired from the job … how they had to leave their home in a week … he left the college and joined a govt college … he did night shifts in a garage … how they re-settled and how he struggled with his love for her …..)

His eyes were wet … tears came out of her eyes …

Nupur (touches his cheek; crying a bit) – Tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi? Kyun mujhse ye baat chupaayi? Kya main tumhara saath nahi deti … sab kuch akele sehte rahe … kya mera haq nahi, tumhe museebat mein madat karne ka … (removes her hand; her head down) Tum nahi jaante mujhpe kya beeti thi … jab tum mujhe chodke chale gaye the … tum kuch nahi jaante, main kya mehsoos kar rahi thi … mujhe aisa laga ki jaise tum mujhe apne laayak nahi samajhte … (holds his coat) kyun kiya tumne aisa … apne aur mere saath … tumne ye socha bhi kaise ki main tumse door khush rahungi … (crying; still holding him) tum bahut bure ho … I hate you … (hugs him; her head on his chest; he smiles and also had tears in his eyes) … I hate you …

He kept his hand on her head and other on her back …

Mayank – I am sorry Nupur … I am really sorry … main promise karta hun … phir kabhi tumhe akela nahi chodunga …
Nupur - You better … warna ..
Mayank (smiling) – Warna tu mera murder kar dogi …

Nupur smiles and hits his chest with her fist …

It’s Sunday morning … both sat on the beach till dawn … Mayank got up and gave his hand to her for getting up … she smiled and looked away … he looked at her sheepishly and lifted her in his arms … she was surprised … he smiled at her … she felt shy and her eyelids dropped but had a soft smile on her face …

Mayank - Chale?
Nupur - Kahan?
Mayank - Maa ke paas … wo tumhe dekhke bahut khush ho jaayegi … aur phir …
Nupur – Phir?
Mayank – Phir tumhaare bhai ke paas … suna hai kisi food magazine ka assistant editor ban gaya hai …

Nupur starts laughing …

Mom is really angry from Mayank … he didn’t come home the whole night and didn’t even bother to call her once …

Bell rings … mom comes to open the door … she is shocked to see Mayank’s condition … he is wet … sand on his clothes and yet smiling ….

Mom – Mayuu … ye sab kya hai? Kahaan tha tu raat bhar? Hmm?

Mayank gets aside and Nupur comes in front … Mom is surprised to see Nupur … in a not so different condition … she touches her face …
Mom – Nupur … (hugs her) aaj main bahut khush hun … tum waapas aa gayi …
Nupur (smiling) – Main bhi aun … maa …

Both hug her …

Gunjan and Dia are tensed; Uday is on phone …

Uday – Hello … CJ…
CJ – Hi … Uday … what’s up?
Uday – Kya Nupur tumhaare saath hai?
CJ – Mere saath … nahi to … kyun any problem?
Uday – Nahi … thanks … talk to you later … bye …
CJ – Yup … bye …

Gunjan – Kya hua Uday bhaiya? Di ka kuch pata chala?
Uday – Nahi …
Dia – Oh no … pata nahi Nupur kahaan chali gayi hai …

Samrat and Benji arrive …

Samrat – Nupur kahin nahi mili …
Gunjan – Ab kya hoga?
Benji – I think humein police mein report kar deni chaahiye … what say?
Dia – Haan … ye sahi rahega …
Uday – Nahi guys … I think humein aadha ghanta aur intezaar karma chaahiye … agar wo aa gayi to theek hai … warna hum police mein jaayenge …
Samrat – Uday theek keh raha hai …

They were waiting … when the bell rang … Gunjan runs to open the door … she is shocked to see Nupur in such condition …
Gunjan – Di … (hugs her) … tum theek ho na … kahan chali gayi thi … main kitni zyada dar gayi thi …

Dia; Uday; Benji and Samrat get a bit relaxed …

Nupur – Gunjan … main theek hun …

As she says this … Mayank enters … Gunjan is shocked to see Mayank …
Gunjan – Mayank …

As everyone hears her … all of them are shocked and come on the door … everyone with him come inside …
Samrat (happy) – Dude … tum …
Benji (surprised) – Mayank …
Dia (happy) – Tum …
Uday (a bit angry) – Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?

Nupur – Uday bhaiya … wo …
Uday (ignores her; getting little more angry looks at Mayank) – Dedh saal se main Nupur ko rote hue dekh raha hun … tumhaari himmat kaise huyi yahaan waapas aane ki … jahaan gaye the … wahin raho … koi zarurat nahi hai humaari life mein waapas aane ki … samjhe …
Dia (keeps her hand on Uday’s shoulder) – Dodo relax …
Uday – What relax Deeds? Ye Nupur ko chodke bhaag gaya tha … phir ab kya zarurat hai waapas aane ki?
Mayank – Uday … dekho …
Uday – Shut up Mayank! Mujhe tumhaari baat sunne mein koi interest nahi hai … get it!
Nupur – Uday bhaiya … dekhiye … meri baat suniye … (and tells him all that happened) … ab aap samjhe kyun Mayank achanak is tarah chala gaya tha …

Uday gets emotional and hugs Mayank … Mayank is shocked … he keeps his hand on his back …

Uday – Sorry dude … mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum kis haal mein the … I am really sorry … wo Nupur meri sister hai na … usko rota dekh mujhe bahut ghussa aata tha … sorry …
Mayank – Koi baat nahi … I promise main phir kabhi Nupur ko nahi rulaaunga … (smiles) waise … aaj pehli baar main tumse dar gaya tha …

Everyone laughs … Samrat and Benji hug Mayank; Gunjan, Dia and Uday hug Nupur …
Dia – Guys … I think it’s a group hug time …

And all of them have a group hug …

Benji – Waise I think … it’s party time …
Samrat – Absolutely … Mayank aur Nupur ke saath aane ki khushi mein …
Uday – Yes!!

Mayank and Nupur look at each other …his hand on her shoulder and she held that same hand … both smile … their eyes glittering ….

Dia and Benji invited everyone ....... Gunjan and Samrat handled the decorations and Uday handled the food department (ofcourse) .......

Mayank at his place .... trying his old shirts ... which he used to wear in college ....
Mayank - Kitna ajeeb lag raha hun .... ye kaise kapde hai ..... uff ....
Mom - Hmm .... phir se wahi problem .....
Mayank - Maa .... us waqt tumne hi kaha tha na ... ki ye shirts pehenke jaaun .... kyunki inhi mein dekhke use mujhse pyaar hua tha ......
Mom - Haan to problem kya hai?
Mayank - Maa .... ab ye kapde mujhpe bahut ajeeb lag rahe hai ..... dekho na .....
Mom (laughs) - To phir wahi pehen jo tu aaj-kal pehenta hai ..... suits .....
Mayank - Pakka ....
Mom - Mayuu ... wo tujhse pyaar karti hai .... tere kapdon se nahi ..... samjha!
Mayank - Haan ..... aur waise bhi ..... ~*~*~*~*(a son-mom secret ....)
Mom - Sach!!! Tu sach keh raha hai mayuu ...
Mayank - Haan maa ....
both hug each other ......

Nupur was in no different problem ...... she looked at her too colourful salwar suites .....
Nupur - Chi .... main ye kapde nahi pehnungi .....
Gunjan - Par di .... pehle bhi tum yahi pehenti thi na ....
Nupur - Haan Gunjan ... par ab main wo Nupur nahi hun ....
Gunjan - Hmmm ... to phir tum apne ye simple aur seedhe saadhe kapde peheno .... waise bhi Mayank tumse pyaar karta hai ..... tumhaare kapdon se nahi .... hai na ....
Nupur smiles ..... both hug .....

In the party ....... finally Mayank wore a dark grey suit with a white shirt .... and Nupur wore a sky blue plain cut sleeve salwar suite .... her hair unbuckled ....

Nupur was standing with Gunjan,Dia and Uday .... her eyes on the door ..... Gunjan;Dia and Uday wink at each other .....

Uday (comes to her and keeps his hand on her shoulder) - Ahm ... Nupur, kisiko dhund rahi ho kya?
Nupur (nervous) - hh ...Nahi to ... kisi ko nahi Uday bhaiya ....
Gunjan&Dia - Oooo .....
Nupur - Kya?
Gunjan - Kuch nahi ..... (Gunjan&Dia start giggling)

Nupur goes away from there .... Dian,Gunjan and Uday follow ....
Dia - Gunjan .... aisa nahi lagta, koi blush kar raha hai ....
Nupur turns red .....
Gunjan - Hmm ... kisi ko bahut yaad kiya ja raha hai ....
Nupur - Gunjan!!
Gunjan hides behind Dia ....
Uday (around Nupur) - Intehaan ho gayi intezaar ki ....
Benji (enters the scene;on the other side of Nupur) - Aayi na kuch khabar tere yaar ki ...
Samrat (from front) - Ye humein ... hai yakeen .... bewafaa wo nahi ....
Gunjan&Dia - Phir wajah kya huyi .... intezaar ki ....

All 5 start laughing .....

Nupur - Tum log na .... tum log bahut bure ho .....

and moves away from them ....

Nupur - Ye Mayank abhi tak nahi aaya ...... i hope sab kuch theek hai .....

All 5 wink at each other ......
Suddenly the lights turn off ..... Nupur is standing in the centre and everyone else hide in the dark; only a spotlight covered Nupur ..... she gets little nervous ..... one spotlight flashes on the staircase ....

Main seedhe saade dhang se ... kehta hun apni baat .... Nupur turns towards the staircase ... where Mayank is standing .... her hair start blowing by the invisible romantic wind ...... Mayank smiles .... Ek ghar basaana chaahta hun ... main tumhaare saath ..... kya dogi mere haathon mein (brings his hand forward) bolo tum apna haath .... kya dogi mere haathon mein bolo tum apna haath .... Nupur is shocked and surprised at the same time ..... all the lights turn on .... everyone starts whistling,clapping and hooting .... Mayank comes down .... Benji,Uday and Samrat come behind him .... Gunjan and Dia come behind Nupur ....
Main seedhe saade dhang se ... kehta hun apni baat ... ek ghar basaana chahta hun .... main tumhaare saath .... Gunjan and Dia look towards Nupur - tumhaare saath .... he comes near her ... Kya dogi ... mere haathon mein bolo tum apna haath ... Nupur feels shy and turns other side and starts walking ... Mayank points at Gunjan and Dia to block her way ... Kya dogi ... Gunjan and Dia bring their hands in front of Nupr to block her way ...Kya dogi .... Nupur turns to the side of Mayank ... he comes near her and brings his hand forward ... Mere haathon mein ... bolo tum apna haath .... Nupur runs away .... Samrat, Uday and Benji come in her way ..... Gunjan and Dia stand near Mayank .... Mayank holds their hand and twirls them ... to Samrat and Benji .... Na na ... na .. na na na ... na na .... Nupur walks to Mayank ... he thinks she is coming near him ... but she passes away and goes near the dining-table ... Mayank follows her .... (behind her ... touching the balloons) Khushiyon se ghar ko .... sajaaunga hamesha .... she sits on a chair .... where 2 guys were sitting in front of her ... he comes to her ... Daftar se bhi main waqt pe .... (pulls the guys and sits in front of her, and keeps his palm under his chin and nods) aaunga hamesha ..... Nupur smiles and looks down ... he takes out a red rose from the inner pocket of his coat ... and gives her ... Laaunga main thode taaza phool bhi she accepts it .... he lights a candle between them ... Karunga main poori har khushi .... she stands up and comes inside the party ... he sits on his knees in front of her ... everyone clap ... as he salutes her .... Maanunga ... main maanunga, maanunga har ek baat ... she hides behind Uday ... he holds Uday's hand ... Uday gets scared ... he pulls Uday aside ... (he joins his hands) Kya dogi mere haathon mein ... bolo tum apna haath .... she smiles and says no by turning her neck .... Mayank stares at her ... he stands up and calls on her landline which is in her room ... she runs to pick it up ...(on phone) Main seedhe saade dhang se ... kehta hun apni baat ... (Nupur starts laughing) ek ghar basana chahta hun ... main tumhaare saath ... (comes inside her room; both of them still on phone) Kya dogi mere haathon mein ... bolo tum apna haath ... kya dogi mere haathon mein bolo tum apna haath ... she keeps the phone and runs out ... he runs behind her ... everyone is dancing ... Samrat and Gunjan; Benji and Dia and Uday with CJ!! ... Nupur is standing in between the circle made by the couples ... all of them together are revolving around her making a border between both of them ... Mayank starts walking (little fast) around them ... Chanda aur sitaare ... laaunga teri khaatir ... finally comes inside the circle ... thanks to Samrat and Gunjan ... Tum jo kaho main wo ... gaaunga teri khaatir ... Nupur stares at him ... he scratches his forehead ... Chalo ye bhi tumse wada hai mera ... chaahunga main tumhe tootke ... Nupur turns her face ... Jitna sataao ya rulaao tum, jaaunga na kahin roothke ...Nupur runs out of the circle ... Mayank comes behind her ... she is walking backward and he is coming towards her from front .... Aaunga, main aaunga ... aaunga tere paas ... she starts falling, he holds her wrist ... she is hanging ...Kya dogi mere haathon mein bolo tum apna haath .... she looks at him with anger ... he immediately pulls her ... she turns away ... he comes in front of her ... and bents his head ... with lots oflove she looks at him .... Main seedhe saade dhang se ... kehta hun apni baat ... (looks in her eyes) ... ek ghar basana chaahta hun ... main tumhaare saath ... (slowly bents on his knees) kya dogi mere haathon mein bolo tum apna haath ... (and finally gives out his hand and proposes her for marrying him) kya dogi ... mere ... haathon mein ... bolo tum ... apna haath ..... she finally gives him her hand ... he pulls out a ring and puts it in her hand .... she is surprised and shocked at once .... he kisses her hand ... she feels extremely shy ....
(in background - she doesn't say it)) Main seedhe saade dhang se ... deti hun apna jawaab ... haan basaana chaahti hun, main ghar tere saath .... haan doongi tere haathon mein, doongi main apna haath ... haan dungi tere haathon mein, doongi main apna haath ... he gets ups and hugs her ...... everyone starts clapping;hooting and whistling ..... both had a smile on their face ......

Nupur (little upset) – Uday bhaiya ….. aap bilkul theek keh rahe hai ….. Bui kabhi Mayank ko accept nahi karengi …… kabhi nahi .....
Mayank – Nupur ….. relax …..
Nupur (in tears) – Mayank ….. kaise ……
Samrat – Dude ….. Nupur sahi keh rahi hai ….. Bui ka trust phir se jeetna bahut mushkil hai ….
Uday – But don’t worry ….. when Uday is here .... then there is no fear ……
Dia – Dodo ….
Uday – Deeds ….. suno ….. its very simple …..
Benji&Dia – Please explain ……
Uday – Yes …. Mayank phir ek baar humaare ghar mein enter karega ….. is baar Mayank bankar …. Aur phir se Bui ka dil jeetega ….. simple …..
Dia (whacks him) – Dodo .... kuch bhi mat bolo .....
Mayank – Dia …… Uday sahi hai ….. ab chaahe kuch bhi ho ….. Nupur ko mujhse koi alag nahi kar sakta …… Bui ko to manna hi hoga ……
Mayank looks at Nupur and assures her ….. she smiles at him …..

A week after the party ….. the gang is ready with A 15 DAYS PLAN ….. Samrat,Gunjan,Dia and Benji have vacations ….. and Uday and Mayank take a 15-day off from their offices ……

Mayank – Okey … to sabko plan yaad hai ….. tum sab pehle jaaoge ….. main aur Samrat baad mein aayenge …..
Samrat – Aur phir shuru hoga humaara plan ……
Nupur – I hope jaisa hum chaahte hai … waisa ho jaaye ….
Gunjan – Di …. tum chinta mat karo ….. waisa hi hoga …..
Uday – Ye daal to gal kar rahegi …
Dia&Benji – Kya?
Uday – Mera matlab hai ….. ye shaadi to hokar rahegi ……
