Re: vegetarian nutrition for healthy hair...??
broccoli, carrot, mushrooms, cucumber etc. have proteins...you can find out very easily about vegetable proteins online...there are great sources out there.....though fish is the best source of protein you can have vegetables and get proteins too...in the veg. proteins you will lack some minerals and certain type of protein, which can only be found in meat....that's why vegans can't have some injections or treatment because of their diet....it always is best to have a balanced diet....not too meaty and not too veggie....just a balanced diet will keep you healthy!!!

Re: vegetarian nutrition for healthy hair...??
Urad daal....known in some places as maash daal is a very good source of protein....more so than any other vegetable. U can live on urad daal for ur proteins! Many ppl use it in making idlis but a more convinient and easy way to get proteins directly is cook some urad daal in some water with red chilli powder, haldi powder and ginger-garlic paste, then add salt later as daal turns tender. later do tadka with whole red chillies and zeera. It turns out delicious! There are other methods too, to prepare urad daal, will post another one later.

Re: vegetarian nutrition for healthy hair...??
A point to add here is that do not let the urad daal become a paste. wait till it turns tender but it should still retain its shape!!
