Eat more High-Water Content Foods
Monday, November 8, 2004

Eating foods that boast high-water contents, such as with fruits and vegetables, can help dieters lose more weight than those people that eat more calorie-dense foods. The theory contends that people can consume the same “weight” of food and fill up, while actually taking in higher-nutrient foods that are also high in water content. If you are looking to lose weight, it would be smart to add more fresh produce to your meals, such as fruit with breakfast, veggie sticks for snacks, salads before dinner and fruit for dessert.

Very good points.I think We want eat High Water Content Foods Regularly.For example :

* fruits
* vegetables
* broth based soups
* oatmeal
* yogurt

I'm not suggesting you have to eat these foods to the exclusion of all others. I just want you to eat proportionally more of them, that is, include more high water content foods at every meal...

I'd also recommend drinking more water rather than sugary soft drinks or energy drinks. I always drink water throughout the day along with a few cups of green tea for its health benefits. I agree that eating more fruits and vegetables is good because it fills you up but it's also good for the nutrients and vitamins that fruits and vegetables contain.
