Dhak Dhakk in Dubai depicts the quandary of a Gujarati girl Sheetal Patel (Shruti Seth) who wants to marry a Punjabi boy, and Vir Singh (Puneet Vashishth) who wants to marry a Gujarati girl. Life turns topsy-turvy when Vir meets Sheetal and tries to woo her pretending to be a Gujarati! Dhak Dhakk... is about chaos, confusion, and lots of anecdotal humour which will leave the viewers in splits.

Shot at stunning locations in Dubai and Sharjah, Dhak Dhakk in Dubai provides a complete dose of dhamal, masti and comedy which will help viewers end their day on a cheerful and relaxed note.

Sheetal Patel
Played by: Shruti Seth

Sheetal is a spirited, good looking Gujarati girl who is Punjbai at heart – to the extent that she does not even speak in Gujarati. She has inherited her affinity for Punjabis from her mother, who, a diehard fan of Bollywood superstar Dharmendra, used to watch all his films back to back, during the months that she was pregnant with Sheetal.

Sheetal doesn’t like the fact that she’s a Gujju and dreams of marrying a Punjabi boy.
Extremely stubborn and temperamental, Sheetal even dresses and behaves like a Punjabi.

Vir for Virender
Played by: Puneet Vashisht

Vir is a good looking Punjabi boy. He is a struggling pop singer and wants to cut an album. His ultimate dream is to marry a rich Gujju babe who would then finance his pop album and video in which she would feature with him. Vir sings like Himesh Reshammiya

Rasik Sarabhai
Played by - Tarun Khanna

Rasik Sarabhai, a successful businessman, is simple, good looking and runs his business in Dubai. Charming, stylish and romantic, he believes in and respects honesty. Son of Savitaben Sarabhai, Rasik is the soft hearted Gujurati boy next door.

Preeti Mehta
Played by: Chandana Sharma

Preeti is beautiful and bubbly, and wants to do something worthwhile with her life. She is smart, tough, quick and ready to fall in love and get married -- just like her parents did. Daughter of Soniya and Jignesh Mehta -- the rich Gujarati banker settled in Dubai – Preeti is an extremely warm and friendly person.
