Aamir to debut at IPL’09?

Aamir Khan is one man who has often positioned himself in an altogether different league when compared to his contemporaries. The man who made Cricket ‘entertaining’ for the masses in Lagaan, is apparently all set to see his team achieve triumph in real life too!

Our source who happens to be a Aamir’s production person, revealed, “Aamir Khan is all set to be a brand ambassador of a cricket team in IPL’s next season which kicks off from April 10 next year. He might co-own the team with other business partners too. He and his few friends might start looking out for good cricket talent for his team soon.”

There was a lot of speculation of his presence in the IPL last season too but nothing concrete shaped up. The coming season however has strong chances of Aamir following SRK’s footsteps.”

We tried to contact Aamir but there was no response from his side. Imraan Khan, his nephew in his last conversation with us had said that Aamir is absolutely in love with the IPL and considers it to be as entertaining as films.

We will spill the beans of this story more, as and when we get further information.
