Govinda clarifies

Actor and Congress MP Govinda will be calling for a press conference on Wednesday night to clarify media reports alleging that the actor fears that the assistant directors of his film Run Bhola Run are out to hurt him and his daughter Narmada.

The actor when contacted said, ``the producers have called for the press conference, besides I know these kind of stories are being planted by people to damage me. It is only because people don't want me to contest in the next elections."

Stories of Govinda slapping a director on the sets of his latest film, first made the rounds. Then this morning, a tabloid carried a story on a vendetta being carried out on him and his family. However, Govinda will make his stand clear at the press conference, scheduled tonight at 8pm.
