Dexter: Just a vigilante?

I started watching this show because the premise sounded really interesting... a serial killer working for the police by day and killing people by night. But because they want us to like Dexter, they have simply made him a vigilante... he kills the bad guys. That's no more interesting than batman or any other crime fighter. If everyone Dexter kills is set up so that we think they deserve it, what's the point? Dexter should be out killing innocent little children, or if that is too dark, at least kill some people who don't clearly deserve it. Dexter is supposed to be a likeable bad guy. I'm disappointed that he's just a plain old vigilante.

I love the show Dexter. And no, Dexter doesn't kill bad guys, he specifically kills murderers who he feels have escaped the law.He wouldn't kill someone who robbed the bank etc.And he woucld never kill and innocent person let alone a child.He always does research on a person before he kills them.
Maybe you should get ur facts right before posting!!!!
