After playing Rizwan Khan, a man who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome in My Name is Khan, SRK will step into the shoes of a lawyer for Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB.


The role is a first for SRK who has played a NASA scientist in Swades and a hockey player turned coach in Chak De! India.

Subhash Kapoor who directed the flop venture Say Salaam India starring Sanjay Suri, Vinay Pathak and Sandhya Mridul, will write and direct Jolly LLB. It will be jointly produced by Akshay Kumar’s close aide, Rakesh Upadhyay. The film is based on a lawyer’s life and will be an expose on the Indian judicial system.
