They may have been made for entertainment or to convey a message but intentionally, these movies have hurt religious sentiments. Take a look at some movies which have ruffled feathers in recent times.

Billu: The line in Marjaani ''Rab ke hujoor main kasme bhi khaali, duniya ki auni-bonni rasme nibhaali' offended a certain group of people who attacked SRK's house. The problem was that the word huzoor has two meanings. One is the Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) and the other is in presence of. The song referred to the second meaning, as Shah Rukh clarified.

Rang De Basanti: The scene with the horses at a carnival in Punjab didnt go down too well with the Sikh community because of which it was removed from the film. It apparently hurt religious sentiments, since it was filmed in the middle of a festival celebration. It's still not understood what was so demeaning since all Aamir Khan does in the film is take a ride on a horse during the festivities.

Slumdog Millionaire: A Hindu group in Goa filed a complaint with the police because they felt the film portrayed Lord Ram in particular and the Indian culture in a bad light. There was a little kid painted in blue, posing as a god like figure. Strange why it upset groups!
