There has already been buzz about the new season of Bigg Boss with the news that Amitabh Bachchan is going to host the show. The show is likely to start next week, and our source gives us some details about it:

“We have not started shooting for the show yet; it is expected to start on October 2. The channel and production house are taking lots of care not to leak the names of the contestants and even we have been kept away from them. On the day shooting starts, their faces will be covered when they are sent to the house in Lonavla.”

The source adds, “The show will air from October 4, Monday, at 9pm. It will replace Khatron Ke Khiladi level 2, which will finish on the coming Thursday.” Deepak Dhar of Endemol confirms: “Bigg Boss 3 is launching next week in the 9pm time slot.” The show’s official launch will take place on Tuesday, September 29.

There has been a lot of speculation about who the new housemates will; some of the names that came up were – Shakti Kapoor, Sharlyn Chopra, Ajay Jadeja, Aditya Pancholi, Harshit Saxena, Raju Srivastav, Nauman Sait, Abhinav Bindra, Ayushman Khuranaa and Sree Desari (from UK’s Big Brother).
