Varun Badola was caught unaware about the future of his show on Star Plus Aek Chabi Hai Pados Mein.. Here is the actor in conversation...




If rumors are to be believed, then the latest ones doing the buzz in the television industry are that Varun Badola’s show on Star Plus, Aek Chabi Hai Pados Mein is being bumped off the channel temporarily to make way for another show. Telly Buzz caught up with the actor to know more.

Aek Chabi was a show completely different from all the usual run of the mill saas bahu sagas, but still received due appreciation from the audience. So then, why does the channel always play truant with the show by pushing it off just to accommodate other shows? When asked this to Varun, the actor was as clueless as us replying, “What!!!, the show is going off air for two weeks??? Are you sure? I hope it’s not going off air altogether.” Varun is very sentimental when it comes to Aek Chabi, which is quite evident from his response as he says, “The show is very close to my heart. We have always done what the channel has asked us to when it comes to the show. Although the show has not received the required publicity and the timings are also very awry, it is still liked by the public and was doing really well.”

But yet, he seemed very indifferent about the future of the show as he says, “To be very frank, I am not really bothered about what is going to happen in the future. In the end, it’s the channel’s decision. Our job is to make a good show and I think we have done that. Now whether the show needs to remain on air or not is entirely up to the channel. I personally feel if the show goes off air it’s their loss.”

Varun is currently busy with a lot of other projects which might also include the upcoming reality show Gharwali Baharwali and seems unperturbed about this whole episode. But we sure hope the actor continues to deliver refreshing shows for his audience.

they keep doing this with aek chabi.. this show is much much better than those saas bahu ones. really sad...

it is really sad news. We are watching aek chabi regularly & missing it so much. It is really a very good show & obviously better than that saas bahu serials. God knows when the public will understand which one is the best.

Aek chabo hai pados me.. is very different show rite nw on tv but its sad to hear its nt gonna be on air in future.but the channel should consider the response its getting which is good.

chabi is actually one of the best shows. Really funny. Love jugle he's hilarious. I hope it comes back soon.

our whole family loves to watched this seriel aik chapi of varun's. I don,t understand why and why and why tv channels stops family dramas which we all can sit together and watched with whole family its certainly not good at all

what????? why is it going off air!!!! i just saw only one episode and i loved the show!!!

maybe coz its too natural, india's audience dont like seeing it. its too close to reality, right? maybe the producer can start selling it to an outside company, so it can be telecasted else where in other countries.

well a the actor said, its the channels job to decide but he is right it is a big loss
