I started watching this show because the premise sounded really interesting... a serial killer working for the police by day and killing people by night. But because they want us to like
Dexter, they have simply made him a vigilante... he kills the bad guys. That's no more interesting than batman or any other crime fighter. If everyone
Dexter kills is set up so that we think they deserve it, what's the point?
Dexter should be out killing innocent little children, or if that is too dark, at least kill some people who don't clearly deserve it. Dexter is supposed to be a likeable bad guy. I'm disappointed that he's just a plain old vigilante.
