Arrow Cyber Romance-Internet Alchemy

We want everything instant: instant coffee, instant bookings, instant love. Dating should be no exception except that it is. Whirlwind soul mate searching goes against the canons of all love for love needs time. Yes folks, time are the only thing that lets you find out all about your potential mate/date. Love also needs time to ripen. That is why so many online dates are fiasco.

INTERNET: GOOD MARKETING SYSTEM

The internet is a terribly good distribution and marketing system but alas no guarantee of reality. Maybe that is why it is called a virtual land. People shamelessly peddle false info about themselves to be picked up by some lost soul who probably believes it. But the interactions are flowed and the fragile human being behind the construct is never revealed or revealed as a rude monstrosity or shock at the first meeting.

REALITY OR PURE FANTASY?

Daters know the constructed fave colours of their potential mates but they do not know the true colours of their constructed mates. While daters are not slow to reveal their frisky sexual positions on the net, the real thing is usually a disaster.

GO SEQUENTIALLY

The alchemy of a true relationship is delicate and has to undergo stages. Skipping stages of love naturally results is mixed messages of the worst kind. So what should you do? Step off virtual reality after making sure you are not dating an outright pervert or criminal. Meet in person after you've done your window shopping. Step off if you find no spark on the first meeting. If you do not do that you risk marrying a virtual construct. Then pull every muscle in your body to restrain from going on to the last stage of commitment and placing all body and soul at their disposal.

ANNOYING HABITS

Look hard for annoying real habits for some months before you commit. Even then, despite the annoying habits you feel good about the person; make time to spend days with their friends and family. Only then commit. Also it's perfectly ethical to do some snooping at their college, school or workplace to know if the particulars they've given are true or false.
